Jura Soundsystem - Morning Star

The follow up to 2022’s Return To The Island LP is a six-track EP influenced by the evocative powers of incense and a deep sense of escapism. The EP has a more organic sound palette than its predecessor, with samples, guest musicians and warm live instrumentation.

Lead track Morning Star features long-standing collaborator Mike Burn, while Savanna brings in Linda Fox on sax over a dub house backing. The record rounds out with instrumental dubs, new productions and the more dub-influenced B-side cut Wah Fix.
