Hiroshi Sato's Time returns as a clear deep blue vinyl LP, revisiting the Japanese keyboardist's 1979 session of jazz-funk, city pop and soft-focus electronic soul.

Warm keys, reflective piano passages and gently tropical rhythm shifts give the album its spacious late-night character. From the luminous title piece and the loose groove of 'Choit' to the slower funk gait of 'Yamate Hotel' and the calm drift of 'Kage-Ni Mukatte', it is a beautifully paced record with real depth beneath the polish.
